FAQs

What kind of work do we do?

I film mostly hunting and fishing trips; however, I will document just about anything outdoors including remote weddings, mountain bike adventures, and even just a nice weekend getaway with the family. I will also do photo only, with no video as well if you simply want high a quality photo story without video.

How much do your services cost?

My rate is $1000 per day with one camera man. If it’s strictly photo work, with no video involved, my day rate is $600. Travel days (no filming) is $200 a day. I will also take photos throughout the trip. Prints and digital copies are available to purchase as well. Price will vary depending on the size of the print.

What’s not included in your prices?

There are other expenses that aren’t included in the breakdown above. Among those are: travel expenses (flights, gas, tolls, etc…), lodging, meals, filming permits (sometimes required by the state, country, BLM, forest service, etc…), and sometimes outfitters will charge for an extra person. Sometimes the outfitter will waive this fee in order to use the finished video as marketing material for their business.

How do you take payment, and when are payments due?

Cash, check, credit card, bank transfer, and Venmo will all work. When booking, I require a 50% deposit to lock down the dates of your trip. The remaining balance will be due two weeks before the first day of filming. You should expect to get your final edited video in 4-8 weeks.

How long will my video be?

It depends on many things such as weather conditions, how many days of filming, what happened during those days, etc… With that being said, you can expect anywhere from 2-5 minutes of final quality video per day of shooting. If you want your video to be a specific length, we can certainly make that happen.

What kind of shots do you get?

The short answer is anything and everything! Depending on the adventure, we will film time-lapses, close ups, macro details, landscapes, drone footage, first person views, interviews, and many more!
